The Museum of Dirt was a temporary artist run project that centred around a ‘soon to be renovated’ premises with no floor. My installation, ‘UNTITLED SHOW’ involved collecting rubbish, photographs and video footage of the space during the day, then projecting the collected material back into the site at night-time.

PROJECTION & SUNLIGHT
PROJECTION

STRIPP GALLERY, FITZROY,
MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA

In SEE THROUGH I videoed the existing gallery windows and outside sky view, I then boarded up the windows and projected the window video onto a gallery wall and the sky video onto a suspended window. Two round holes were cut out of the boarded area which produced sunlight projections during the day.

CONSTRUCTION IN PROCESS VI - THE BRIDGE PROJECT

CURATED BY DAVID H THOMAS

187 COLLINS STREET
MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA

In ‘PILE-ON’ artists had 10 days to create a work from existing materials in a ‘soon to be demolished building’. My work utilised discarded fluorescent tubes, window slats, found-paper & a video of the building’s details, such as door handles etc, in an installation with a large video projection.
