STUDIO 12
GERTRUDE CONTEMPORARY ART SPACES
MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA
In ‘ANGLED’ a small room was optically transformed into
a large room through the use of illusion techniques. A walk-through
experience was created with a built structure and large angled mirrors;
the participant viewers were lead towards an existing gallery window
and back out to the hallway they entered from.

ARCHITECTURAL CUT & PAINT
GERTRUDE CONTEMPORARY ART SPACES
MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA
In this work a rectangle was cut between two adjoining gallery
spaces. The cut-out piece created a shelf on one side and on the other
side, layers of paint in the gallery wall prompted a site determined
painting which was placed just below the cut-out.
