The Zilverkamer installation took place in the old silver-room (zilverkamer), at the Escher Museum in The Hague, former summer home of the Dutch Royal Family, in which a spiral corridor was created to demarcate and interrupt the existing space. The original floor was replicated and angled mirrors were strategically allocated within the space to create an optical illusion that the floor was tilted on a vertical plane.

Venue: The Escher Museum, The Hague, the Netherlands

Year: 2007

Media: Mirror, fabricated walls, existing floor

Dimensions: Variable
